Rakshabandhan Inspired Nail Art

Hi Nail Polish Sisters, today I have a special nail art to share with you. Yes, today is Rakshabandhan or Rakhee in India. It is festival celebrated all across with lot of joy and enthusiasm. We celebrate this day where a sister ties Rakhee (an auspicious thread) to her brother's wrist asking him to protect her and take care of her. "Rakhsha" means "protection" and "Bandhan" means a "tie of relation".

So I did this nail art yesterday but dozed off before editing and posting :P. But I am covering up today. I loved this nail art. I was not planning a loud nail art to work for few days, but I couldn't resist this one. And I did get compliments :) :) :)

This nail paint is from Tip Top and I will posting review soon. But before that let me spill the beans and say I am in LOVE with this nail paint. I mean love is an understatement.

Back to the nail art, I used dotting tool and some acrylic paints to make designs and flower.

I used some pearl rhinestones to make the strings for Rakhee. Also I discovered something pleasant during this nail art. I got a substitute for wax pencil :D :D. I was refraining from using rhinestones for long but now I am all for it. But the details on next post. Till then enjoy my nail art :)

  2. Before you even said it's a Tip Top pink, I just got the feeling that it's a tip top pink and I think I know which one.
I love this mani though and how the tie weaves through all of your nails! Very cool!

  3. Thanks Viviana.but I am not happy with clean up. I hav been good with nail side walls always, but the cuticle part is my worry. I also tried an ear bud or Q tip but not satisfactory. Hav to try other options.

I dnt have eyeshadow brush but have placed order.
