Elegant French Red Nail Art

December 24, 2013 Setu 5 Comments

Girls I am loving french nail arts these days. They make your hand look so delicate, elegant and classy. You don't need to have very long nails, just enough nails is fine. And since the time I have 2% Milk from Wet and Wild in my possession, I am falling for the more for french :) :) .

Elegant French Red Nail Art

I have so many french based nail art designs n my head and I love doing them :) . Really, I wish had 36 hours in a day, 24 hours for regular daily life and 12 hours dedicated for nail art :P . Back to nail art. I am not very friendly with stamping, but I was really feeling greedy for stamping. It did not come out perfectly though , and not very fine but considering my poor experience in stamping pardon me.

Sally Hansen Radiant Hands Nail & Cuticle Creme Review

December 20, 2013 Setu 6 Comments

I always keep a tube of Hand and Nail cream in office drawer. I apply them whenever my hands feel dry , whenever I wash my hands or whenever I feel pampering my hands n nails. I feel very inclined towards applying hand and nail cream due to amazing feeling it gives to my hands. I wash my hands sometimes just that I don't feel guilty of applying the cream again and again :P .
Now, I have always wanted to keep two hand and nail creams, one at office drawer and the other on my bed side table. We spend most of our awake hours in office so keeping it in office is a wise thing. But I also feel like applying it before I go to bed. And I definitely miss it on holidays.
So with the position of my night hand and nail cream being vacant for so long, I pounced on this in no time.

Marks and Spencer Royal Jelly and Pure Honey Hand and Nail Cream Review

December 13, 2013 Setu 4 Comments

Now as I mentioned in my previous post about Marks & Spencer Magnolia Hand & Nail Cream , I love hand and nail cream and I keep on experimenting with some or the other variant from M&S . I had been to Delhi for Diwali when I visited Select City Walk to buy some Inglot and Sephora. I also did enter M&S since my hand and nail cream was nearing end and for this brand is only sold through outlets. So I dragged my husband to the outlet after the long torture I gave him while buying lipsticks and gel eyeliner from Inglot. Any way lets see if it was worth?

Marks and Spencer Royal Jelly and Pure Honey Hand and Nail Cream

Product claims: A light non greasy hand & nail cream specially formulated with the natural hydration properties of royal jelly and honey. Enriched with sweet almond oil & panthenol this moisture rich cream has been designed to leave your hands feeling soft and smooth.

Price and Quantity : Rs 299 for 100 ml

Marks and Spencer Royal Jelly and Pure Honey Hand and Nail Cream

Directions: Gently massage into hands paying particular attention to cuticles and nails . Ideal for daily use.
Indications:  Avoid contact with eyes . If product gets into eyes, rinse well with warm water.

Ingredients :

Marks and Spencer Royal Jelly and Pure Honey Hand and Nail Cream

Since I had already used M&S Cocoa butter which was bit thicker and M&S Magnolia which was thinner , I was not sure in which zone would this land into. And how would it be different? It was priced mid of both. This was placed in a separate corner and products from this range are said to be newly launched. They looked royal with beige and golden color, I really found them tempting. They had classy packaging and looked different from rest. When I asked the SA what was the difference he was not sure, he just said it's new range. I asked you have price it over the normal hand and nail cream , is there some difference? But he was clueless. So I had buy the cream to figure out the difference :P :P

I am so glad that I picked it up. This one is just bang on texture and greasiness and price. It was 100 Rs expensive than Magnolia one but the one problem that I had with Magnolia of it being bit not as thick was solved by this one. It was just as thick I would have loved it. And yet it was not greasy or glittery. It has a mild honey like fragrance which is a welcome. It is not heavy or greasy and doesn't make my hands slippery. Every thing in just the right amount :) :)

And to answer the question what was different in this one than the other variant, it was perfect creamy composition.

Marks and Spencer Royal Jelly and Pure Honey Hand and Nail Cream

Off Whitish Hand and Nail Cream Blob

Marks and Spencer Royal Jelly and Pure Honey Hand and Nail Cream

After rubbing the cream on my hands.

Pros

  • Moisturising and nourishing

  • Creamy and enriching for hands and nails

  • Non Greasy

  • Doesn't make hands slippery

  • Makes hands shiny and supple

  • Provides lusture to skin and nails

  • Very reasonably priced as per quality/quantity

  • A little pea size require to make hands lusicios

  • Mild Pleasant fragrance

Cons

  • Not Available online/other outlets..only at M&S outlets

Will I re-purchase again? Yes. It is like perfect combination of nourishment, non greasiness and price.

Would I recommend it to others? Definitely, totally recommend.

Devil wears Gold Nail Art

December 10, 2013 Setu 3 Comments

Girls, when I went to Delhi for Diwali....I used to doll up almost everyday and match up a nail art to that!! I thoroughly enjoyed the fashion parade there :) . So I wore a really gorgeous saree this day so I definitely needed something to match up to the look. I recently hauled from buyincoins which had lots of nail art accessories.

Devil Wears Gold Nail Art

Although I wanted to do glam nail art but I would get late dressing up eating up all my time to do nail art. So I would rarely manage to do an elaborate nail art. In those tough times, I would often seek help from.

Nails for my Husband's BirthDay

December 06, 2013 Setu 8 Comments

Hi All, today I am to share with you a very special nail art. I was Delhi for Diwali and my husband's birthday falls on 9th November. Now, when I knew his birthday was going to fall in a place I knew nothing about , I should have planned something in advance. But I didn't because we were awefully busy last month :( :( :(

BirthDay Nails for My Hubby

So the eve of 8th Nov, I had nothing for the birthday. No Gift, No cake and no plan. I told my sister in law who stays near by to get a cake on her way home and came up with this nail art to make him feel special and surprised. And to add to my distress, my uncle (sister in laws father) unknowingly told him on his face "Kirti has gone to get your cake" when he called him.

BirthDay Nails for My Hubby

I knew now nothing possibly can go wrong, my only hope was my nail art. I also made dinner for him with his help of course.

BirthDay Nails for My Hubby

I had been waiting to use 'Constant Candy' from Color Show for long. I decided to use it for my hubby's B'day Nails. I wanted it to have a soft look and pink is the color of love so I went it. :) . I used N.NAIL Strawberry Head Little Girl Nail Water Decals which had this Happy Birthday Sticker in it.

BirthDay Nails for My Hubby

Fot rest of the fingers I decided to do birthday cake and candles. So I used the decal on my fore and ring finger. With the help of acrylic paints I drew cake and candle with free hand. I loved the color of flame, it came out realistic.

I also clicked a picture without cakes, do you think they were good on their own? I should have not drawn the cake?

BirthDay Nails for My Hubby

My husband and my father in law were impressed by the nail art. How did you guys find it?? Does it seem special to you too??
